Plot[]

The story begins with explaining how things would've been in a "perfect world" for Peter Parker and Mary Jane. Peter is sitting at the dinner table with his wife MJ and his daughter Anna. He's fixing his webshooters, telling MJ that she shouldn't want him to run out of web fluid while on patrol. She tells him "patrol" is an excuse not to change Anna's diapers. His web diapers don't exactly do after the webbing dissolves after an hour.

Their conversation shifts into talking about Peter staying out late as "S-P-I-D-E-Y", since they are speaking in front of Anna. Peter explains that it seems he's had double the workload on dealing with baddies that aren't even his. Moon Knights enemies and DareDevil's enemies have been loose and Peter has had to stop them on his own accord. MJ tells him that he needs to speak to them about it because Peter actually has a family to take care of now. Peter tells her he'll deal with the issue.

Later, when Peter heads to the Daily Bugle, he founds out from J. Jonah Jameson and Ben Urich that most of NY's superheroes have been going missing. Urich tells Peter that it's been superheroes with powers, DareDevil being one of them. When Peter says DareDevil doesn't have any powers, Urich says that they both know that's not true, which makes Peter suspect that if Urich knows Matt Murdock is DareDevil he would know he is Spider-Man. He dismisses the idea though and immediately heads to Avengers mansion.
