Avengers & X-Men: AXIS is a comic book event that debuted in September 2014 and is published by Marvel Comics.
Plot[]
The event focuses around the Avengers and X-Men having to put aside their differences and grudges in order to stop the Red Skull, now calling himself the Red Onslaught, from instigating a World War.
Notes[]
- Originally, the event was to be simply titled Axis, but was later announced that the event would be renamed Avengers & X-Men: AXIS.
- The Green Goblin was originally intended to be included in the event, but was later switched out in favor of the Hobgoblin. To accommodate this change, all previously released promotional covers and images featuring the Green Goblin were recolored to make him look more like the Hobgoblin.
