Bruce Banner (of Earth-12041), better known as the Hulk, is a gamma mutant and the worlds formost expert on gamma radiation. He is considered by most people to be the most dangerous man alive. The Hulk recently joined the Avengers.
History[]
Hulk first meets Spider-Man when Mary Jane is trying to interview Spider-Man, and Hulk crashes into NYC, causing destruction. Spider-Man swings Mary Jane to safety and finds out that Hulk claims to be fighting someone he calls "energy man". It turns out the "energy man" is a villain known as Zzzax. After Spider-Man finds out Hulk is trying to help, he defends him from police and teams up with Hulk to defeat Zzzax. Afterwards, Spider-Man defended Hulk from S.H.I.E.L.D. arrest. Hulk tells Spider-Man that all humans are dumb except "bug man".
