Carmilla Black (of Earth-616) is the second person to use the codename Scorpion.
History[]
Carmilla Black was actually Thanasee Rappaccini, the genetically-engineered "daughter" of A.I.M. scientist Monica Rappaccini. Designed to be a human who could live in toxic environments, infant Thanasee was sent to be raised by A.I.M. agents and renamed Carmilla Black. As a teenager her powers awakened and she released all the toxins she had absorbed over the years into the body of her boyfriend, killing him. Terrified, Carmilla became a runaway. When her adoptive parents were killed, she came home and was led to believe that S.H.I.E.L.D. agents were the killers. Carmilla tried to attack a S.H.I.E.L.D base and was made aware of her origins. S.H.I.E.L.D. gave Carmilla a specialized gauntlet that helped her control her toxic touch. Called the 'Scorpion", Carmilla became a secret agent. Later she was given her own version of the armor worn by the first Scorpion, Mac Gargan.

- Toxin Absorbtion - Specialized lymph nodes in her left arm allow Scorpion to absorb any diseases and toxins in her immediate vicinity.
- Toxin Immunity - Scorpion is immune to all types of poisons and illnesses.
- Stinger Touch - Scorpion can release all her stored toxins through her left hand into any human she touches. After she gained the Scorpion armor, she could focus her toxins through the suit's tail.
- Toxic Replication - After exposure to certain toxins, her body can create its own version of the poison, even replicating the Venom symbiote after she absorbed its webs.
