Cindy Moon of Earth-65 was never bitten by a radioactive spider like her Earth-616 counterpart. Instead she joined S.H.I.E.L.D. and began researching spiders, exposing them to isotopes to try and trigger super-powers. One her spiders escaped and bit Gwen Stacy, giving her the powers she would use as Ghost-Spider. Cindy left S.H.I.E.L.D and formed her own team, S.I.L.K and became its villainous leader. She stole the dimensional transporter from Ghost-Spider and raided the technology of Earth-616, creating a powerful gauntlet weapon for herself. Her reign of terror was stopped by Ghost-Spider, with the help of Earth-616's Spider-Woman and Silk.
