"What's YOUR Damage?"
— Companies' Slogan

Damage Control (of Earth-12041) is a construction and repair company who are contracted by various groups and individuals to clean up and repair the damage caused by super-heroes and super-villains.

History[]

At an unknown point in time, Mac Porter founded Damage Control to help deal with the massive amounts of property damage caused by the various super-heroes and super-villains living in New York City. The company eventually became so successful and influential that they were able to convince Captain Ultra to be their official spokesperson and have been frequently contracted by S.H.I.E.L.D. to work on various clean-up projects.

After a fight with the Wrecking Crew that caused massive collateral damage to the city, Nick Fury ordered the S.H.I.E.L.D. Trainees to work with Damage Control until they had cleaned up all the debris in order to teach them what it is like having to clean-up the messes they make and why it is important to minimize collateral damage in fights with super-villains.

While serving out his punishment as a temporary employee of Damage Control, Spider-Man discovered that someone in Damage Control had been using the companies' shrinking technology to secretly steal money from the bank that was being cleaned and repaired. Spider-Man suspected the companies' CEO Mac Porter of committing the crime and decides to search his office for clues later that night.

After failing to find evidence of Mac's guilt, Spider-Man is confronted by the four Damage control employees. He accuses them of being Mac's muscle, but soon reveal themselves to be the Wrecking Crew in disguise. Spider-Man then realizes that the Wrecking Crew had joined Damage Control under false identities in order to steal from the places Damage Control was contracted to Clean and Repair using the companies' technology. Mac Porter arrives shortly after this revelation and helps Spider-Man to defeat the Wrecking Crew.
