History[]
Liz Allan was the daughter of the mutant supervillain, the Blob. Due to the scary stories her mother told her about mutants and superhumans, Liz developed a phobia of people with powers. In high school, Liz began to date Johnny Storm, not knowing he was the Human Torch. When he manifested his fire powers in front of her, Liz panicked and left him. During a beach bonfire, Liz literally burst into flames as she manifested pyrokinetic abilities. Liz initially blamed Johnny for “infecting” her with fire powers. Liz later learned she was a mutant and joined the X-Men as Firestar.

As Firestar, Liz possesses the psionic power to create and control fire. When she uses her powers she is surrounded by an aura of flame. By focusing her fire downward in a tight stream, Liz can generate enough thrust to fly.
