Betty Brant is the secretary of J. Jonah Jameson at the Daily Bugle of Earth-1610.
Initially, she tried to build the Daily Bugle's website. Fortunately, Peter Parker took over from her and got his job at the Bugle as a web designer.
Death[]
In Ultimate Spider-Man (Volume 2) #16.1, when she tried to uncover the true identity of the new Spider-Man, and found dead, the genetically altered spider which gave him powers, she was killed by Venom in her apartment.
