Harry Osborn (of Earth-12041), better known as Venom, Anti-Venom, and the Patrioteer is one of the oldest friends of Peter Parker and the son of the Green Goblin.
Personal Life[]
Harry is one of Peter Parker's best friends, and he is one of Mary Jane's best friends. Harry is also the son of the rich and mostly power crazy Norman Osborn. Although he is rich and tries to play the type who has no care in the world, Harry has one major concern. He is always trying to impress Norman, which at one point almost leads to him destroying New York. If you're hooked, then follow me into the story of Harry Osborn so far.
Becoming Friends[]
Harry is first introduced as Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man for you so called geniuses out there, arrives at school late. Harry ends up waiting up for him. Peter then explains that the way they met as friends was their freshman year in High School. Peter's bike wasn't running well, so he had to walk his bike. Harry ends up offering him a ride home as he and his father are driving by in a limo. Before this, they didn't know each other, but knew each other's names. Harry introduces Peter to his father, Norman Osborn. Harry tells Norman that, "This is the guy I was telling you about". Norman seems impressed when Peter says that he's at the top of his class. However, he turns to Harry and says that he wishes he could say the same thing about Harry. Harry seems hurt at this, but when Peter tries to defend Harry, Norman says that all Harry needs is a good tutor. He smiles, and then says that when Peter graduates, there might be an open spot available at Oscorp waiting for him. Harry scoffs, then tells Peter that, "You actually made him smile! You actually made Norman Osborn smile". This gives birth to Peter and Harry's friendship.
Frightful Four[]
After Peter was tracked by the Frightful Four to MidTown High, the Frightful Four attacked the school, believing Spider-Man was a student there. They threatened to tear the school apart for Spider-Man, and Harry found himself helpless when Peter stood up and was hurt. Spider-Man arrived to stop the villains, but Harry was hurt in the battle. He was later hospitalized with minor injuries.
