Wolverine assisted Spider-Man after Spider-Man became an assassin, helping him to train to fight more ruthlessly, and to become more stone-hearted towards his enemies. Wolverine also helped Spider-Man on several Black Ops missions.
Wolverine was killed by the Inheritor Karn, who incinerated his flesh, overcoming his healing factor, which killed him.
