Joystick was a player in the Great Game, a secret group of wealthy villians who hired superhuman criminals to fight superheroes and wagered on the winners. Joystick was hired to fight the Scarlet Spider, and they fought again when she and Polestar were hired to fight Spider-Man (unaware that Scarlet Spider had taken on the Spider-Man identity at the time). When the Great Game ended, Joystick joined the Masters of Evil to recoup the money she had lost. She would later join the Thunderbolts as a double agent.
Powers[]
Through unknown means, Joystick's muscles and reflexes have been augmented to superhuman levels. Her strength was said to be equal to Scarlet Spider's, and she can lift up to 10 tons. She is also incredibly agile, and can quickly leap over long distances. But her greatest power is her speed, as Joystick can run at supersonic speeds, and was actually able to match speed with the Speed Demon. She supplements her abilities with a pair of gauntlets that allow her to generate hard-light batons.
