History
Breaking the Multiverse
Peter Parker (of Earth-199999) asks Doctor Strange to cast a spell that will make everyone forget he is Spider-Man. Strange agrees. During the casting, Peter realises that the people he still wants to know he is Spider-Man, will forget. Peter wanting some people to still know he is Spider-Man, keeps asking Strange to change the spell to add people he doesn't want to forget his identity. Strange agrees to do all of them, but it was too much and the spell failed, breaking open the multiverse, bringing in enemies and heroes who knew Peter Parker was Spider-Man.
A New Universe
Once Max arrived in the new universe, he began consuming electricity from a power line, slowly forming his body. Spider-Man tries to shoot Max with his new magic webbing to send him to a cell underneath the Sanctum Sanctorum, but it goes through him and instead sends a tree to the Sanctum. Max finally attacks Spider-Man by shooting multiple bolts of electricity at Peter, eventually hitting him and electrocuting him. Max shoots one last bolt of electricity at Peter, but the attack gets blocked by Sandman. Peter asks Flint for help, which he agrees to, They both rush towards Max, Flint starting to surround Max with a sandstorm, while Peter destroys the utility poles that were giving Max his power.
Max finally returned to his human form, although he has no clothes. Peter quickly finds Max some clothes and finally webs both Max and Flint, sending them to the Sanctum.
Meeting The Other Villains
Once in the cell, Max notices The Lizard. Doctor Octopus asks Max if he actually knows The Lizard. Max explains that The Lizard is actually a human, and a brilliant scientist, that turned himself into a lizard. He then proceeded to explain that Lizard tried to turn everyone in New York City into lizards. Lizard asks Max about his different appearance, explaining that he remembers that Max had bad teeth, glasses and a comb over. Lizard then proceeds to offer Max a real makeover, into a lizard. Flint asks Max and Curt to shut up, then asks MJ where they are. MJ explains that they are in a wizard's dungeon. Max explains that he wants to try out his new energy, producing small bolts from his hands, and messing with the lights in the basement.
Creating the Cures
To save the villains from being sent back to their universe to die, Peter brings them to Happy Hogan's apartment. Otto asks Peter how he can cure them from a condomonium. Max tells Otto that he has something, he can feel it. Norman Osborn, Max and Aunt May walk into the storage room of Happy's condo and watch Peter take a sheet off a Stark Fabricator. Norman asks what it is, and Peter explains that the Fabricator can analyze, design, construct basically anything. Peter turns the Fabricator on, and as it opens fully, an arc reactor is revealed, which peaks Max's interest, his eyes glow with electricity.
Max stares out the window into the brand new world, full of possibilties. Max explains that he likes how he is in this universe, and continues to explain to Flint that he could be so much more with the arc reactor from the Fabricator. Max asks Flint why he came along, he responds that he has a daughter. Flint then asks Max how he became what he did. Max explains that the place he worked was experimenting on electricity created by living organisms, and that he fell into a vat of electric eels. Flint explains that he fell into a super collider, which Max jokes about being careful where you fall.
Peter is working on a brand new chip for Otto, alongside Norman. Peter finishes, and rushes out to try it out. May unlocks Otto's arms, and they raise him up to the second floor, Peter quickly rushes to the second floor. Max watches as Peter inserts the chip, and Otto passes out for a few seconds, eventually waking up, to the voices in his head, now gone.
Peter works with Max on a cure, he places it on his chest to draw power from him. Peter asks Max to watch the lights turn green, explaining that when all the green lights are on, almost all the electricity from his body, besides his brain and nervous system will have dissipated. Max asks Peter if the LEGO Death Star is his, but Peter rushes off to check on Norman and Otto.
The first green light appears, Max explain to Flint that something feels wrong. Flint tells Max that it's fine, that the sooner he does this, the sooner they can go home.
Peter is with Norman and Otto, when suddenly, his spidey sense starts to tingle. He gets up, Otto asking Peter if something is wrong. Peter begins to walk to the living room, explaining that he doesn't know what is wrong. Peter calls for May, and Peter stops walking, looking around at all the villains. Norman walks towards Dum-E, and Max asks Peter why he is looking at him weird. Peter closes his eyes, finding the problem to be Norman, who has now had the Green Goblin take over.
The Goblin Takeover
Peter webs Norman's hand to Dum-E, Max is confused about what happened to Norman. Norman explains to Peter that they don't need to be fixed, and that their powers aren't curses, but gifts. Max looks down at the cure, with two gray lights left, being tempted to take it off. The second to last light turns on, and Peter tells May to run, and Max finally removes the cure. Max uses his powers to attract the arc reactor towards him, and he feels all the power surge through his body, and it causes the lights in the whole apartment complex to flicker. Norman rushes at Peter, punching him into the staircase. Otto asks what Max has done, and Max explains that he preferred Otto when he was a bad guy, lifting him up with his electricity, and shooting him out of the building. Max joins Flint, who has turned into a sandstorm, and turns into electricity, destroying some cars at the entrance to the apartment complex, before flying away.
Battle at Liberty Island
Max arrives at Liberty Island in the clouds, eventually coming down to show his new suit to Peter. Max asks Peter to give him the Macchina di Kadavus, to destroy it, if not he will kill him. Max asks Peter to not make him a murderer. Peter puts on his mask, and jumps off the head of Lady Liberty, alerting Peter (of Earth-96283) and Peter (of Earth-120703). Peter (E-120703) runs across the scaffolding around the Statue of Liberty, jumping towards Max, and saying hello to him, explaining that he missed Max. Peter (E-199999) swings up towards MJ and Ned and tosses the Macchina di Kadavus to MJ. MJ tells Ned to close the portal, but he is unable to. Peter (E-120703) lands on the head of Lady Liberty, and asks Max to just talk. Max rejects the offer, and begins to attack Peter again.
After Curt and Flint join the fight, Max tells them both that they aren't going home. Peter (E-120703) lands on a crane, and gets shot at by Max, which he dodges, but it damages the crane and the crane falls on Flint. Peter (E-120703) continues to distract Max, but Max manages to land a hit on Peter, sending him through the scaffolding. After figuring out a plan, Peter-1 (E-199999), Peter-2 (E-96283) and Peter-3 (E-120703) swings up to the head of Lady Liberty, to face off against the villains again. The three Peter's and Max, Curt and Sandman jumps towards each other, Peter-1 dives down with the Macchina di Kadavus and Max follows. Peter-1 explains that Flint is their first target, Peter-3 begins to rush to Flint's cure, grabbing it, but he gets attacked by Curt, and they greet each other. Peter-3 throws Flint's cure to Peter-1, still being chased by Max, swings up, but gets hit by Max, losing the cure. Peter-2 distracts Flint, making him follow him inside Lady Liberty. Peter-2 makes it to the top of Lady Liberty, but Flint is quickly filling up Lady Liberty. Peter-2 yells that he needs the cure. Peter-3 kicks Curt off him, webbing him to the scaffolding, rushing to get Flint's cure. Peter-3 jumps onto the side of the scaffolding, about to be attacked by Max, he slingshots himself to to the top, and while being following by Max, throws Flint's cure to Peter-1, who then throws it to Peter-2, activating the cure, successfully curing Flint, turning him back to normal.
With Flint cured, the three Peter's focus their sights on Max. Peter-3 explains that he has never seen Max this powerful before, and Peter-1 explains that it's the arc reactor. Peter-1 tries to web the arc reactor, Max explains that they won't take it away from him, Peter-1 tries to web the arc reactor, but Max rips it off, explaining that won't work. Max fires a huge electricity blast at the Peter's, but they dodge, landing on different points from eachother. Peter-1 explains that they need to stop him up close, telling Peter-2 to go right and Peter-3 left. Peter-3 webs Max's right hand, Peter-2 webs Max's left hand, and Peter-1 goes for the arc reactor, but he gets shot by an electric shot from Max's chest. Peter-2 tries to go for the arc reactor, but the same thing happens to him. Max then focuses all his attention on Peter-3, electricuting him, Peter-1 tries to attack Max from behind, but Max teleports below Peter-1 and fires an electric beam at him, knocking him into the scaffolding, dropping him a couple of floors.
Curt breaks free from the webs, and begins to hear MJ and Ned trying to close the portal, Curt begins to climb the scaffolding, but Peter-1 notices and goes down to attack Curt, and allow MJ and Ned to run. Max focuses his power on Peter-3 again, electricuting him, making him drop his cure. Peter-2 webs Max's cure to him, and goes to use it, but he gets grabbed by Otto, who want's Peter-2 and Peter-3 to himself. Max explains that he is good, and continues to electrocute both Peter's. Otto then grabs Max's chest, Max asks Otto what he is doing, Otto then rips the arc reactor out, and inserts the cure, curing Max.
Curt continues to run after MJ and Ned, but Ned opens up a portal in the middle of an ocean, allowing Curt to get knocked down to the bottom of Lady Liberty, allowing Ned and MJ to grab Curt's cure, and toss it to Peter-1. Curt goes to bite Peter-1, but Peter-1 makes Curt bite the cure, knocking Curt over, and curing him, slowly turning him back to his normal self. Ned opens up a portal, and Strange walks out, and angrily asks where Peter is. Ned and MJ quickly explain that Peter's plan to cure them is working. Strange walks close to the edge of the scaffolding, watch Curt turn back to his human self.
Otto lowers Max towards the ground, alongside Peter-3. Max explains to Peter that he is out of power, Peter-3 responds if he is sure. Max says that he is back to being a nobody, which Peter-3 explains that he wasn't, but Max doesn't believe him. Max tells Peter-3 that he is a nice kid, helping all those that need it. Max proceeds to explain his dissapointment that Peter-3 isn't black, and although Peter-3 apologizes, Max says that there has to be a black Spider-Man somewhere.
Otto and Peter-2 re-unite, Otto asks Peter-2 how he has been, which Peter-2 responds that he is trying to do better. Strange opens a portal to the top, with the Macchina di Kadavus. Peter-1 swings up to the top, to tell Strange that they are close to curing everyone. Strange is annoyed with Peter-1, and wants this to end. Strange then notices two more Spider-Men, and Peter-1 introduces them to Strange. Suddenly, Norman can be heard laughing behind them, and he attacks Peter-1, 2, 3, Otto and Strange with Razor Bats, but Otto uses his mechanical arms to destroy the Razor Bats, but this gives Norman an opportunity to grab the Macchina di Kadavus and he tries to fly away, but Otto grabs his glider. Norman slices Otto's arm off, but Strange, not letting Norman get away, uses the Eldritch Whip to grab the Macchina di Kadavus, but unknown to the group, Norman had planted a pumpkin bomb inside the Macchina di Kadavus, Peter-1 tries to warn Strange, but the bomb explodes, allowing the previously contained spell, to be unleashed again.
The explosion also damaged the Captain America shield that was being added to Lady Liberty, causing it to drop and destroy scaffolding, causing Ned to almost fall, but he manages to grab onto a pole, but MJ begins to fall. Peter-1 quickly dives to save MJ, reaching his hand out to save her, but Norman swoops in and takes him away. Peter-3, not wanting what happened to Gwen to happen to MJ, quickly dives, and instead of using his web to save her, focuses on his dive, allowing him to catch her safely. Peter-3 asks MJ if she is ok, which she confirms, causing him to tear up. Strange tries to contain the spell again, but he is unable to, and the spell begins to start to form cracks in the multiverse. Otto grabs Max and takes him to safety. The Captain America shield begins to fall again, causing Ned to lose grip, but he is caught by the Cloak of Levitation, and eventually the Captain America shield ends up on the edge of Liberty Island. Strange watches atop Lady Liberty as the cracks begin to open, revealing silhouettes of people of know Spider-Man's identity, Strange quickly tries to close the cracks.
Peter-1 begins to punch the pumpkin bomb holder on Norman's glider, opening it, grabbing a pumpkin bomb, activating it and placing it in the glider, damaging the glider. Peter-1 and Norman crash onto the Captain America shield. Ned is left on the ground by the Cloak of Levitation, and he and MJ re-unite, and they hear Peter-1 call for them, asking if they are okay, which they confirm.
Going Home
After Peter-1 and Peter-2 cure Norman, the cracks in the multiverse keep getting bigger, and Strange cannot stop them from coming through. Peter suggests doing the spell, the original way, but Strange explains that it is too late for that now. Peter then suggests, what if everyone forgot who he was. Strange is confused at the offer, but Peter explains that they are here because of him, Peter continues to suggest to cast the spell, but Strange refuses. Peter asks if it would work, which Strange confirms, but he explains that casting the spell would mean everyone would forget who he is, including his loved ones, Strange explains that it would be like Peter never existed. Peter accepts it, and allows Strange to cast the spell.
Peter jumps down to say his goodbyes to the other Peter's, giving them a hug, before saying goodbye to Ned and MJ. Strange starts to finish the spell, as Max, Otto, Norman, Flint and Curt go back to their universes. Peter-3 puts up a peace sign to Peter-2, and Peter-2 waves, as they go back to their universes, and completes the spell.
