History

Oscorp Industries

About to enter Oscorp Industries

While his class is on field trip to Oscorp Industries, Peter is overjoyed at being at the premiere chemical research facility. He quickly tags along with Harry Osborn, his best friend and son of Norman Osborn, the owner of Oscorp Industries. Peter spots a tiny, robotic spider and takes a picture of it with his phone. To his horror, alarms begin to sound off. Peter approaches a worker and asks whats going on, wondering if it was a reactor meltdown, gamma radiation, or even Asgardian interference. The worker tells Peter that it's just experimental spiders that got lose and nothing serious. Relieved that it isn't anything to worry about, Peter is yanked by his teacher, Mr. Smythe. Mr. Smythe informs Peter that his field trip partner is Liz Allan.

Bit by the spider

While a scientist is introducing the students to Oscrop, Peter interrupts him by finishing his sentence for him. The scientist praises Peter for his enthusiasm and goes on to describe the scientific method, which Peter also interrupts. Later, Harry is chosen to demonstrate a piece of equipment, a mechanical glove. Harry decides to let Peter test it out instead of him, as Peter lays his hand on the glove, the mechanical spider from before lands on his hand and bites him. Disoriented from the bite, Peters vision begins to blur and nearly vomits while his class laughs at him. Peter makes a break for it, locating the nearest bathroom. After locating a bathroom that's out of order, Peter tries to break down the door, which to his surprise, he manages to do.

Clinging on the ceiling

Peter shambles his way towards the nearest sink. Growing extremely hot and sweaty, Peter removes his jacket, shirt and pants as he splashes water in his face. As he attempts to normalize the situation at hand, he's horrified by the fact that objects now appear to stick to his hands. While still confused, Peter realizes that he can now see without his glasses. Still trying to normalize the situation, Peter tries to walk off the weirdness, only to realize that he was walking on the ceiling the whole time. As Harry walks in to check on his friend, Peter hides, clinging on the ceiling out of sight until his friend leaves.

Scientific Method

Peter rushes out of Oscorp Industries, confused and slightly panicking over his new powers, upon seeing the statues of great scientists, Peter has a spark of inspiration and begins to apply scientific method to his newly gained powers.

Peter sticking to a wall

Deciding to stick with the basics, Peter starts off on the first step of his plan, observation. Now walking down the streets, Peter deduces that he seems to have the powers of a spider, which he elaborates upon, believing he got the powers from the experimental spider that bit him at Oscorp Industries. While in the middle of his thoughts, Peter starts to become overwhelmed with an odd sensation, as if his entire body is covered in goosebumps and that it's telling him to do something. As it turns out, a car is coming towards him, but Peter manages to jump over the car in time. As he lands back on the ground, Peter is almost hit by a bus, which he also manages to avoid, but this time by jumping onto a nearby building, managing to stick to its windows. After a group of civilians notice Peter sticking to a wall, he decides to scurry away, as he does so, he begins to understand his powers and discover other ones. After people in the building he's climbing on attempt to film him, Peter quickly escapes and leaps towards another building. Peter then busts through a brick wall in order to see if he has super strength, and to his delight, he does.

At an unspecified time later, Peter records himself testing out his newly found agility by performing impressive feats of parkour. In the process, he scales the side of a building in a matter of seconds.

Creating the web shooters

Now at home, Peter is recording himself discussing his powers. Realizing he lacks the ability to spin webs like a spider, Peter sets off to his 'lab' to work on a device that does that for him. Although Peter is able to create such a device, it backfires and covers himself with the webbing instead. Now recording himself once again, Peter mentions spiders have censors all over their body that alerts them to danger which he coins his "Spider Sense", which goes off as his web shooters backfire, covering him in their web once again. After some time, Peter has gained a good deal of proficiency with his web shooters, able to make a ball of web, which he strikes with a metal pipe like a baseball. Back in his room, Peter decides to test out his web shooters again by making a hammock. Later, he creates a punching bag, then uses his web shooters to try and shoot down a fly, to no avail.

Swinging through New York

Sometime later, Peter decides to test the limits of his web shooters by swinging through the streets. To hide his identity, he creates a web mask and begins to swing through the streets of New York. Peter proves himself to be a skilled web slinger as he freely slung his way across city blocks. However, after a wrong turn, he found himself crashing head on into the side of a building.

While walking through the streets, Peter struggles to come up with a name for his secret identity, such as Web-Face, Bug-Boy and Daddy Longlegs. As he's doing so, a fortune teller calls out to Peter, wishing to read his future. Peter dismisses her on the grounds that he's a scientist, but the fortune teller convinces him by claiming she sees fame and fortune in his future. As the fortune teller attempts to read Peters palm, he accidentally blasts her with his webbing. Afterwards, the webbing on Peters face begins to dissolve, causing him to run away. He swings towards a nearby water tower. Chasing a dream of fame and fortune, Peter decides to work on an entire costume. Back at home, Peter gets to work on his costume, after a few failed costumes such as a boxy Iron Man costume, he decides on a red and blue hoodie with red sweatpants, red mask and large, yellow-tinted goggles. While swinging around New York, Peter wonders what to start is career with, and after seeing a wrestling poster, he decides to become a wrestler.

Peter Parker is an extremely intelligent young man with a passionate enthusiasm for science. He's very excitable, energetic and generally cheerful, friendly and upbeat. Peter can also be rather vain, considering himself 'devilishly handsome'.

When under the effect of the symbiote, Peter becomes a rather hedonistic and violent person, though still retains much of his underlining good nature and moral center, still fighting for good and was enraged when Keemia seemingly killed her father when he wasn't even trying to fight back.

Powers and Abilities

Powers

• Superhuman Strength: Peter Parker has the proportional strength that of a Spider. He is strong enough to effortlessly bust his way through brick walls and knock down metal doors. He can lift over 10 tons.

• Superhuman Agility: Peter has become very agile after gaining his spider powers, able to perform impressive feats of parkour and the ability to scale the sides of buildings in a matter of seconds.

• Wall-Crawling: Due to his spider-powers, Peter is able to stick to walls and make objects stick to his body. He can easily support his entire body mass and as seen in "Introduction", is able to walk up walls as if he were walking on floors.
• Spider-Sense

Abilities

• Genius-Level Intellect: In spite of his young age, Peter has proven himself to be an incredibly intelligent and gifted young man. Before gaining education at Horizon High, Peter was capable of building advanced web-shooters. Thanks to his knowledge and proficiency with the Scientific Method, Peter was able to quickly adapt to his new powers. His IQ is 250. His mind is able to rival that of Iron Man, Mister Fantastic and others.

• Dexterity: On top of his superhuman levels of agility, Peter is very dexterous, able to aim his webs to swing around the landscape of New York with skill and grace. His aim is able to rival that of Hawkeye's.
