The event focuses on the Peter Parker of Earth-616 uniting with Spider-Men from across the Multiverse to combat the threat of Morlun while at the same time exploring the various realities his counterparts come from.

Trivia

When asked in an interview, Dan Slott had said that this is not a sequel to Spider-Men.
When choosing the many Spider-Man and Women to be in the event, Dan Slott said he was surprised at some of the characters they were allowed to use, saying "Really? Really? That Spider-Man is going to be in there too?"
When asked about the Amalgam Universe's Spider-Boy, Dan replied "Oh yeah, DC is going to let us do that, I'm sure. Let me call my DC contact right now.".
